To make this fantastic troop keep on running, we need active parent participation and involvement. The different parent/ adult roles are described at the bottom of this page. The BOR for example is an excellent way to learn about requirements for advancement for your Scout and hear other Scouts talk about their experiences. If you have any questions or would like to find your volunteer place within our Troops, please talk to one of our Scout masters!
Volunteering as one of the adult roles listened to below isn't boring. Many parents learn from these jobs, weather its to benefit their knowledge about scouting or to help your children strive for success.
The Scoutmaster is the adult responsible for working directly with the Scouts providing direction, coaching, and support.
The Scoutmaster has three basic roles:
When scouts need to request for a Board of Review (BOR), they can contact: advancement@troop14pa.groups.io. Their job is to set a schedule and time slot fo the scout and to check they have done all the requirements needed.
