Eagle required Merit Badges
Scouts need to accumulate at least 21 merit badges before earning the Eagle Scout rank. Of those 21 badges, 14 must come from this list of Eagle-required merit badges and the rest can be any badges not used for these 14.

- Citizenship in the Nation
- Citizenship in the World
- Citizenship in the World
- Communication
- Cooking
- Personal Fitness
- Personal Management
- Camping
- Family Life
- Enviormental Science or Sustaniblty
- Emergency Preparness or Life Saving
- Swimming or Hiking or Cycling
what is a Merit Badge?
You can learn about sports, crafts, science, trades, business, and future careers as you earn merit badges. There are more than 135 merit badges, and any Scout, or any qualified Venturer or Sea Scout may earn any of these at any time.

How to get a merit badge consular?
At Troop 4014 there are many adults that have been verified to be certain merit badge consular. Approche your Scoutmaster and they will have answers of the merit badge consular you are looking for. If you Scoutmaster says there is no one that is in our Troop that is verified in that particular merit badge. There are many other in the bay area that can help as well! Just ask your Scoutmaster and they will have answers.
